Being late at University!!!
Imagine walking in late through the main door, what kind of response do you think you would get?
The most important part of any lesson is the beginning.
The beginning part of the lesson sets out the foundations for the whole lecture.
It is a guarantee that the university will not tolerate you being late!!

WHY SHOULD THE COLLEGE TOLERATE IT!!!
WHEN YOU ARE LATE NOT ONLY IS IT GOING TO CAUSE YOU PROBLEMS BUT IT WILL CAUSE YOUR TUTOR AND FELLOW STUDENTS PROBLEMS.
Disciplinary Procedure
It is our responsibility to not only educate you about IT but to make you aware that poor attendance and punctuality is not acceptable in any environment.
We will be following a disciplinary procedure this will involve a number of warnings including: verbal warnings, written warnings and finally dismissal from the course.
The initial warning will involve a discussion with your tutor usually at the end of class. Further warnings will involve an at risk interview with the course team leader and your PPD coach. These meetings will usually take place on a day that you are not scheduled to be in college.
Failure to attend these meetings could result in the next level of the disciplinary being enforced.
If you can not attend a lesson you should contact your tutor and course leader via email asap.
